Parents, babies and toddlers around the world have been enjoying the freedom and comfort of disposable diapers for over 50 years. To celebrate this, the International Association Serving the Nonwovens and Related Industries, EDANA, asked Alligence to create a disposable diaper timeline, featuring the most relevant milestones in the evolution of the product as well as the historical and social context it evolved around.

 

By means of an inventive Flash-based mini site, we developed a comparative online timeline that allows moving back and forth through the years and comparing each step in the evolution of the disposable diaper with other discoveries and inventions, historical events and the most relevant highlights in the shaping of the European Union and its institutions.

PVC DESIGN is an initiative of the European Council of Vinyl Manufacturers, ECVM, which aims to illustrate the many ways in which PVC can enhance our daily lives. It supported this year’s Designers Week-End exhibition (Brussels, 9-10 September 2006) and organised a round table and a design exhibition for the event. Alligence was asked to devise the communication tools used to invite journalists to the press event and tempt architects to participate at the round table.

 

We wrote the press release, created personal fact sheets about the designers taking part in the round table and the exhibition, and prepared the images - all put together in a stylish digital press kit. Alligence then designed and developed a bilingual invitation and an online database-driven registration form that was built up to allow participants to sign up for the round table online. We then produced a series of posters that were displayed at schools and organisations to promote the event.

Formerly belonging to Punch International, the company designs, develops and delivers digital printing and prepress solutions for the global graphics industry. Having developed the corporate identity in 2005, Alligence was asked to create and produce Punch Graphix’s very first annual report. With the corporate identity as the base for the design, the art and graphics of the annual report brought out the dynamism of the digital printing sector and the freshness and drive that Punch Graphix brings to it.
