Kommunikation for "the K"
The International Trade Fair for Rubber and Plastics (K2007) is the most celebrated trade fair for the plastics industry. For this edition, ExxonMobil Chemical did something quite different: there was no booth to go to, but visitors could admire their films’ and TPV’s (thermoplastic vulcanizates) performance in the processing halls. Their high-class VIP customers were offered a special treat and invited to an exclusive dinner.
Pulling our weight
Alligence was assigned to take care of the dressing: We designed and developed a direct mailing campaign for all ExxonMobil Chemical contacts, accompanied by a Z-fold card including a map and a timetable displaying where and when their products would be running. We also produced a dedicated microsite, highlighting product features and customer benefits, as well as providing more information about ExxonMobil Chemical’s presence at K2007.
For its VIP customers, we created a special VIP pass to access the fair grounds in a privileged way. We also took care of the VIP customer dinner invitation and the confirmation e-mails to inform invitees of the pick-up time and place.
